Paint correction is a transformative process that can elevate the appearance of your vehicle by effectively eliminating unsightly imperfections by wet sanding, compounding, polishing, and applying a finishing layer of wax to remove defects such as scratches, swirl marks, water spots, and more. At Detail and Supply, we hope your vehicle's paintwork achieves a level of perfection that will leave you in awe. Our commitment to preserving your vehicle's finish is unwavering, and this evaluation ensures that the paint correction process is tailored to your vehicle's specific needs. If wet sanding is involved, then our journey begins with a careful assessment of your vehicle's paint condition. This allows us to know how much clear coat we have to work with, and if wet sanding is even possible without damaging the vehicle's paint. The next step involves thorough decontamination. We use a clay bar to remove surface contaminants and an iron remover to address any embedded iron particles that may have taken residence on your vehicle's surface. Then we will wet sand, compound, polish and then finish the vehicle with a brilliant layer of carnauba wax.
